Dear TerryOn Tuesday, January 30, I rented a vehicle from the Enterprise branch at Madrid Barajas Airport and returned it on February 1 at the Málaga branch. Upon return, I was charged for damage to the front windshield of the vehicle, which I am certain did not occur during the rental period. The staff member who received the vehicle assured me that they would have contacted me to discuss the matter, but I have not received any calls thus far. The severity of the case lies in the fact that, at the time of receiving the car, NO DAMAGES WERE POINTED OUT TO ME. However, upon returning it, a SIMILAR DAMAGE VERY CLOSE TO THE ONE I WAS CHARGED FOR appeared in the report. This suggests that not only did the staff member fail to inform me of the existing damage, but it is highly likely that both damages occurred in the same incident, and only one was reported prior to pickup. It should also be noted that at no point was I GIVEN A WALK-AROUND OF THE VEHICLE to highlight its condition. Based on trust in the company, I accepted the vehicle without paying much attention to the way the handover was conducted. However, the company still charged 615 euros to my card, stating that they would repair the damage and refund the remaining money if the cost was less. As of today, March 6, I have not received any communication or refund from the company. Thanks
