Dear Customer Service Team at Wizz Air Hungary Ltd.,I hope this message finds you well. My name is Cristian López López, and I recently had the pleasure of flying with your airline on flight W62371 bound for Madrid. While my overall experience on board was satisfactory, I am reaching out to you regarding a situation that I found rather perplexing and would like to address.During the booking process for my flight, I opted for the fare that exclusively includes hand luggage, which I understood and fully accepted. However, upon arriving at the airport and going through the boarding process, I was surprised to discover that I was charged again for my hand luggage, despite having paid for it at the time of booking.Furthermore, during my first flight in Madrid, it was communicated to us that the hand luggage would be taken to the boarding gate. However, in Budapest, we encountered an issue regarding the same luggage.I would like to point out that, according to Article 97 of the Air Navigation Act, it is clearly stated that the carrier shall be obliged to carry, free of charge, in the cabin, as hand luggage, the objects and packages that the traveler carries with them, including items purchased in stores located at airports. Therefore, this situation raises an additional concern and may potentially be in violation of this regulation. As a customer, I value honesty and transparency in dealings with companies, and I trust that you share these same values.I kindly request that you review my case and proceed to refund the amount corresponding to the hand luggage surcharge that I paid at the airport (329,45 €) as you can find in the attached file (receipt No. 2511130), as well as the initial charge (364,76 €).I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that you will resolve it in a timely and fair manner.Thank you in advance for your prompt response. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.Sincerely,Cristian López Lópezcristiantremor@hotmail.com
