Dear Customer Service Representative,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I received from Pegasus Airlines on 31/01 at Sabiha airport. As an Erasmus student in Turkey, I had a valid residence permit processed by my host university. However, upon my departure to Spain, I was subjected to an unjustified immigration control that lasted over an hour. Despite presenting my valid documentation, I was erroneously informed that I was not registered in the visa system, which ultimately led to me missing my scheduled flight.
Following this distressing experience, I sought assistance from Pegasus Airlines at the airport. Initially, I was informed that I was eligible for a discounted ticket due to the mishandling of my case. However, after being subjected to unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and delays, I was ultimately denied any form of compensation or discount. As a result, I was forced to purchase a new ticket for the following day at full price. Additionally, I was not allowed to re-enter the country, causing me significant inconvenience and additional expenses.
To further exacerbate the issue, Pegasus Airlines lost my boarding pass containing the immigration control stamp. This document serves as crucial evidence for filing a complaint against the immigration authorities for their wrongful actions. The airline’s negligence in handling my case has caused me undue stress, financial loss, and unnecessary hardship.
Given these circumstances, I demand the following:
A full refund of the ticket I had to purchase due to the airline’s failure to assist me appropriately + hotel.
Compensation for the financial and emotional distress caused by the airline’s mishandling of my case.
An official explanation regarding the loss of my stamped boarding pass, as well as measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
