1. I made a booking with your web for the Pousada Convento in Tavira, which was confirmed AND PAID FOR on 03 September 2018. While away in Italy on business I received an email from Roomdi on 25 September 2018 informing me that there was a problem with occupation at the Pousada Convento, and suggesting the Vila Gale Tavira – this just 3 days before the stay and 22 days (over 3 weeks) AFTER the original confirmation and payment. By then, of course, I had flights and rented car all booked as well as a speaker slot at the conference I was attending!2. I spoke to the Pousada Convento, and they informed me that they had already refused the original booking on th 03 Septamber, the SAME DAY that Roomdo confirmed it to me, and again, over 3 weeks before your email. Why did the change take 3 weeks to come from Roomdi?3. I talked to your phone contact line (with very long waits with music) and was refused contact with a superior to explain the matter – you have the tape of the exchange which was little more than we are sorry, we offer you the Vila Gale for well over half an hour – why could this not be escalated to a superior?4. I paid Roomdi 448,00€ for a room at the Pousada Convento, and have been charged the SAME AMOUNT for the Vila Gale! The Vila Gale assures me that this is far far higher than even their highest room cost. At the time of writing, the Vila Gale is 111€ for a SUITE!! Where is my refund for the difference in price – a sum of over 200,00€?I received an answer apologising but refusing to refund the difference in price for the rooms.
