Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my booking with Booking.com.

Amount Paid: €217
I was physically present at the property on 1st April; however, I was not accommodated, and the service was not provided. Furthermore, I was explicitly assured by a Booking.com representative (while I was on the property of the hotel) that I would receive a full refund, despite the non-refundable policy, as the hotel itself cancelled the booking. In addition, I have written confirmation from the hotel clearly stating that the reservation was cancelled without any penalty.
Despite these facts, I have still not received my refund, which is completely unacceptable.
Therefore I formally request:
Immediate full refund of €217 and prompt resolution of this matter.
I have all supporting documentation, including proof of payment, booking confirmation and written confirmation from the hotel regarding cancellation without penalty.
