Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally complain about a subscription that I was apparently enrolled in when I purchased tickets for the Colosseum in 2025.
At the time, my intention was simply to purchase tickets for the Colosseum. I was not aware that I was signing up for any subscription or recurring service, and I never knowingly or explicitly authorized such a subscription.
The subscription was not clearly and explicitly presented to me during the ticket purchase process. I understood that I was making a one-time payment for the tickets only. I did not knowingly agree to any recurring charges, nor was I aware that I would be charged periodically after the ticket purchase.
I have only recently discovered that, since that purchase in 2025, a total of €474 has been charged to my credit card in connection with this subscription.
I consider these charges to be unauthorized, as I never knowingly consented to the subscription or to the recurring payments. Had I been clearly informed that I was agreeing to a subscription, I would not have accepted it.
I therefore request:
1. The immediate cancellation of any subscription associated with my details.
2. A full refund of the €474 that has been charged to my credit card.
3. A detailed breakdown of all charges made, including the dates and amounts.
4. Confirmation of the exact date and method by which I allegedly consented to the subscription, including the terms and conditions that were presented to me at the time of purchase.
I would also ask you to provide evidence that the subscription was clearly and explicitly disclosed before payment and that I gave informed consent to the recurring charges.
I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and amicably. If the charges cannot be justified by clear evidence of informed consent, I will consider taking the matter further through the appropriate consumer protection and payment dispute channels.
I look forward to receiving your response and a full refund of the amount charged.
Yours faithfully,
Victoria Gallardo
