Retraso injustificado y cambio de origen

El día 21 de diciembre teníamos un vuelo desde Manchester a Madrid con número de vuelo FR6814. Alegando mal tiempo, el vuelo se retrasó y se cambió el aeropuerto de origen teniendo que ser transportados desde Manchester por carretera a Birmingham, nuevo origen del vuelo. Durante las varias horas que esperamos en el aeropuerto de Manchester hasta que llegaron los transportes para llevarnos a Birmingham, pudimos observar que despegaron y aterrizaron numerosos vuelos sin aparentes dificultades. Finalmente y tras dos horas de viaje por carretera, embarcamos en Birmingham a las 23:30, con unas 7 horas de retraso. Todo ello, a parte del trastorno y los inconvenientes asociados a esperar sin apenas información de lo que sucedía, ha derivado en un incremento del coste del aparcamiento en el aeropuerto de Madrid Barajas entre otros perjuicios. Tras ponerme en contacto con ellos a través de su página web me dijeron que “lamentablemente el billete no era reembolsable” y no me dieron ninguna solución. Tras varios emails nos contestaron siempre con el mismo argumento cuando lo que solicitábamos era una compensación por el trastorno ocasionado por culpa de un retraso no atribuible a las condiciones meteorológicas.
