I wish to state from the outset that I paid only €0.95 to edit and download a PDF. At no point did I agree to, or authorize, any subscription. Despite this, I was unexpectedly and fraudulently charged nearly €60. This practice is entirely unacceptable.
I have already confirmed with both the police and the Consumer Protection Office that similar fraudulent practices have been reported across the world. Together, we will take all necessary steps to apply pressure so that a formal injunction and legal action are initiated against your company. What you are doing constitutes fraud and is inconceivable.
A 20% discount, amounting to €12, is completely unsatisfactory, as this situation is the direct result of your misleading and unlawful conduct.
I hereby demand a full refund of the total amount charged. This is your opportunity to resolve the matter in good faith. Otherwise, I will proceed with the legal complaint I am filing today and will cooperate fully with the competent authorities to ensure that appropriate legal measures are taken.
