Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to formally file a complaint against Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) regarding my ferry trip from Barcelona to Ibiza, originally scheduled for 31/03/2026 Over the course of approximately one week, this booking has been subject to multiple disruptions, specifically: - The trip was initially cancelled, and I was reassigned to a different date - Following this change, I was downgraded from a seat (“butaca”) to no assigned seat, without reimbursement of the price difference (approximately €4 per person) - The schedule was then modified again - Finally, the trip has now been cancelled again, with only two days’ notice (notification received on Saturday for a Monday departure) This sequence of events clearly demonstrates a serious and repeated failure in the provision of the contracted service. The alternative offered (departure on April 2nd) is not viable, as I am required to be in Ibiza by April 1st. As a result, I am being forced to reorganize my entire trip at my own expense, including: - Travelling to Valencia to board an alternative ferry in time - Fuel and related travel costs - Paying for unexpected accommodation, as my planned stay in Ibiza is only available from April 1st These additional costs are currently estimated at €200, and will be fully documented and submitted. Furthermore, I must stress the significant inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused by these repeated last-minute changes, including the downgrade of service without proper reimbursement. Therefore, I request: 1. Full refund of the cancelled ticket 2. Refund of the seat (“butaca”) price difference not reimbursed (€4 per person) 3. Reimbursement of all additional costs incurred (to be documented) 4. Compensation for non-material damages (distress and inconvenience) in the amount of €500 If a satisfactory resolution is not provided, I will escalate this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities and consider legal action. I look forward to your prompt response. Kind regards
