OCU has asked Ana Mato to intercede for repayment of the Euro per prescription
16 jun. 2014OCU has requested the intervention of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, run by Ana Mato, in the process to return the euro per prescription faced by the lack of response to the letter OCU sent on 6 June to the Regional Health Ministers in Catalonia and Madrid.
OCU believes that the Ministry of Health, which promoted one of the legal challenges to prevent the discrimination the euro per prescription meant for the citizens of Catalonia and Madrid, must take steps to ensure that these citizens get back the amounts paid illegally.
OCU considers it unfair that the Public Administrations wash their hands of the matter and leave the responsibility to reclaim what unduly charged in the hands of citizens.
Once again OCU requires the same means and diligence to return the money collected as used to enforce an unlawful charge on its citizens.
