More than 200,000 people registered in the first OCU Collective Fuel Purchase

Once the registration period closed, and with the information provided by users, we will determine the successful bid among all the companies involved; this will be the one that offers the biggest discount and widest geographical coverage on fuel prices for a year.

Given the characteristics of this product, which differs from other collective purchases, discounts will be channelled through a card that will allow those registered to refuel at a lower price. This card is free and does not imply any commitment to purchase fuel or use the card. On the website www.quieropagarmenosgasolina.org all the details and the timing of the collective buying is explained. Once the winning bid is known, in a few days, OCU will get in touch with consumers individually to inform them about the savings obtained according to their individual data and how to join this initiative, all totally free of charge.

OCU welcomes the outcome of this initiative, which primarily aims to achieve significant savings for everybody who has given their support and which moreover contributes to increasing competition in a sector where it is not at all easy for consumers to get better conditions individually. The success of OCU’s collective purchase proves once again that consumers are stronger when they come together and it paves the way for the future development of such initiatives which are new forms of collaboration that will allow consumers to obtain goods and services.
